I purchase the unit in the 1990s and it was in a very bad state. A friend of mine saw it in a car yard at South Melbourne (Whiteman Street) the original registration number was CUI 576. I rebuild the whole thing, body off, bead blast chassis and all parts other than the side curtain and frames. The colour was Red at that time but the plate said NURB / WHITE so I have painted it the original colour Nurb White. I managed to bring the car to the former glory with the help of Brain Lauder of, MGA Specialist Services, of Hastings.
